The Hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/E is a 16-channel Turbo HD digital video recorder designed for reliable CCTV surveillance, intelligent motion detection and efficient video recording in residential and commercial environments.

Featuring Hikvision AcuSense Motion Detection 2.0, this recorder uses deep-learning technology to distinguish human and vehicle movement from irrelevant background activity. This helps reduce false motion alarms and makes it easier to locate important surveillance events.

The DVR supports intelligent perimeter protection, including line-crossing and intrusion detection on up to four analog channels, subject to the supported operating mode.

With 16 BNC video inputs, the recorder supports HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and CVBS camera technologies, making it suitable for upgrading existing analog CCTV systems and installing new hybrid surveillance solutions.

It also supports compatible IP cameras, with up to 24 IP camera channels available under enhanced IP configuration. The exact number of simultaneous analog and IP channels depends on the selected configuration.

H.265 Pro+ video compression helps optimize storage requirements and recording efficiency. The recorder supports up to 1080p recording at 15 frames per second and selected higher-resolution Lite recording modes.

A single SATA interface supports one compatible surveillance hard drive with capacity up to 10TB, allowing users to configure continuous, scheduled or event-based recording.

The recorder provides HDMI and VGA display connections, audio-over-coax support with compatible cameras, Ethernet connectivity and remote access through Hik-Connect.

Its compact 1U housing makes it suitable for homes, offices, supermarkets, schools, warehouses, hotels and other premises requiring centralized CCTV monitoring.
